Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club
Before embarking on the manga adaptation journey, the Love Live!’s : Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club Group (ラブライブ！蓮ノ空女学院スクールアイドルクラブ) had already carved a niche for itself in the virtual idol domain. Comprising six virtual school idols from Hasunosora Girls’ High School, this group was introduced through a smartphone application launched on April 15, 2023. As part of the broader Love Live! multimedia project, these idols entertained audiences as 3D VTubers and voice actresses, extending the vibrant narrative of the Love Live! franchise.

The idols didn’t just limit themselves to virtual interactions. They marked their physical presence in an OPENING LIVE EVENT ~Bloom the Dream~ on June 4, 2023, at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall, further solidifying their bond with the fanbase. Affiliated with the “Link! Like! Love Live” project and smartphone game, the fifth major installment in the series, their venture was announced as a project centering around “virtual school idols”. They also released their debut album titled Natsumeki Pain, comprising ten new songs and showcasing the collaborative efforts of the idol units.

The manga is set to debut in the December issue of Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine on November 17, with the artist Tsumumi and Ten Tanaka collaborating on the project.
